“Today, all mobile operators, mobile communications operating in Kherson and the region, are provided from Ukraine and broadcast through Ukrainian channels. At the same time, there are facts when local providers begin to cooperate with the occupiers and reschedule traffic specifically to Crimea. This is a violation of international law and we will take all measures to stop this activity of the Russian Federation,” he said.
He noted that fixed-line communications were resumed a few hours ago.
“The fiber-optic network between Kherson and Nikolaev was interrupted, about 20 kilometers from the city of Nikolaev, shelling was constantly carried out there. According to him, Ukraine applied to the International Telecommunication Union to apply sanctions against Russia, which directs traffic from the Kherson region to the occupied territories.
Earlier, the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kirill Budanov, said that the Russians plan to do with the occupied Kherson, where they planned to hold a pseudo-referendum on April 27, but failed to do so.
