Austria will allocate an additional 46 million euros to Ukraine for humanitarian aid.
The Austrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs notes that this will be the largest payment in the history of the agency’s fund.

“The federal government is providing almost 46 million more funds from the External Disaster Fund of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (AKF). The budget for humanitarian aid for the first time this year exceeded the mark of 100 million euros. This is the largest payment in history,” the message says.
In addition, Austrian Chancellor Karl Nehammer stressed that since the start of the war, the country has already provided Ukraine with a range of emergency aid, including 17.5 million euros, ambulances, helmets, body armor and fuel.
“At least 15 million euros of the amount for Ukraine are planned for humanitarian assistance to women and children, 5 million for organizations that help to receive Ukrainians in Moldova,” the chancellor said.
Recall that Finland will transfer additional military weapons to Ukraine. On Thursday, May 5, Finnish President Sauli Niiniste made a decision to that effect.
