The head of the British defense department praised the experience that the Ukrainian military is gaining by “hunting” Russian tanks and planes with the help of Western weapons.
Having visited military exercises in Finland, in which British soldiers take part , British Defense Secretary Ben Wallace spoke about the valuable experience of the Ukrainian military, which they will be able to share after the war.
It is reported by The Telegraph,
“Every day is a training day for us and the Ukrainians. I think, of course, it can be envisaged that the Ukrainian experience will be used to train our forces,” the minister said.
According to the British defense minister, the lessons learned from the “hunt” for Russian tanks and planes organized by the Ukrainian military with the help of Western weapons will be useful for the British armed forces.
He also noted Ukrainian methods of warfare in populated areas, the use of electronic warfare, the deployment of air defenses, and how Ukrainian forces exploited Russia’s weakness.
Recall, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said that he would give Ukraine even more tanks, armored vehicles, as well as new anti-ship missiles.
