During the day on May 5, the western borders of Ukraine with the EU and Moldova were crossed by about 69 thousand people and more than 17 thousand vehicles.
Over the past day, 36,000 people left Ukraine. Almost 22 thousand of them crossed the border with Poland, the rest went to other EU countries and Moldova.
This was reported in the Western Regional Department of the State Border Service of Ukraine.
At the same time, more than 32,000 people arrived in Ukraine over the past day, of which about 28,000 are Ukrainians.
Also during this period, about 290 trucks with humanitarian aid were issued.
Today, May 6, as of 06:00 am in front of the checkpoints with neighboring states, to leave Ukraine, the following queues were recorded:
Republic of Poland:
“Krakowets” – 10 l / a, 2 buses, 0 pedestrians;
“Shegini” – 25 l / a, 0 buses, 0 pedestrians.
