“Friends! The military command is not yet planning to impose a curfew in Kyiv and the region on May 8-9. The city does not plan to hold any events these days either. Therefore, let me remind you that mass events are prohibited during martial law. If anyone wants to go lay flowers, he can do it privately,” he said.
Klitschko also added that these days patrols in the city, public order will be intensified and urged the people of Kiev not to neglect air raid signals, since there is a high probability of rocket attacks.
“Today is not the time for mass festivities or outdoor recreation in large companies. Be careful and follow wartime safety rules. I also remind you that it is forbidden to visit forests and forest park areas in the capital and suburbs. After all, pyrotechnicians are still working in many of them. Also I ask you not to neglect the air raid signals and immediately go to the shelter. In the coming days, there is a high probability of rocket attacks in all regions of Ukraine,” the mayor of Kyiv said.
Recall that Prime Minister Denys Shmihal said that the Russian Federation on May 9 intends to officially declare war on Ukraine .
