Russian troops are preparing to go on the offensive in the Lugansk region in the coming days.
Today, the region is dangerous everywhere.
This was announced on the air of the all-Ukrainian telethon by the head of the Lugansk regional military administration Serhiy Gaidai.
According to him, the entire territory of the region is being shelled, there is no safe place at all, in any settlement.
“We are preparing for more powerful consequences. In the next three or four days, they will give up all efforts to break into Severodonetsk or Popasnaya and encircle the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” he said.
Earlier it became known that a research group at the University of Tokyo has created a digital map that visualizes the destruction in the Luhansk region as a result of the Russian invasion. The digital map shows that Popasnaya received the most damage.
Recall that the Russian invaders continue to conduct offensive operations in the Eastern Operational Zone. The command of the invaders is trying to increase the pace of the offensive in the east of Ukraine in order to reach the administrative borders of the Lugansk and Donetsk regions, as well as to develop the offensive in the Zaporozhye and Kryvyi Rih directions.
