President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced on May 6 that he had awarded 203 servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and 16 servicemen of the Main Intelligence Directorate.
Zelensky stressed that thanks to the fighters, Ukraine has survived and is holding on tight.
The head of state said this in an evening video message.
“Already in the evening, I signed a decree on awarding our heroes, our brave defenders and defenders – those thanks to whom Ukraine survived and holds on tight, despite everything that Russia is trying to do . To break us. Therefore, 203 servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and 16 servicemen of the Main Intelligence Directorate,” the president said.
“Once again, I congratulate all the soldiers in the infantry units on their professional day. Glory to all our defenders! Glory to all our defenders! Eternal memory to each and every one who gave their lives for Ukraine. Glory to Ukraine!” he added.
Recall that Zelensky in his address also called on Ukrainians in the coming days not to ignore alarms and not to visit the forests due to probable stretch marks or mines.
