Near the exit to Konstantinovka near Melitopol, local residents noticed trenches dug by Russian soldiers. And in Melitopol itself, in the morning, 8 submachine gunners lined up near the tank at the Fraternal Cemetery.

The armed invaders visited the buildings of the Taurida Agrotechnological University – they checked the classrooms, the windows of which overlook the central avenue of the city. In the lower part of the city, in the area of Alexander Nevsky Street, the armed military had been carrying out searches since morning. And at the Novoye cemetery, locals heard explosions and shots.

“It seems that in this way the occupiers are trying to secure the holding of events until May 9,” the OVA suggested.
