The Verkhovna Rada reported that fuel is starting to appear at some gas stations.
At the same time, a little more time is needed to solve the problem with the supply of fuel to gas stations, how much time is still unknown.
The First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Oleksandr Kornienko spoke about this on the air of a joint telethon on Saturday, May 7.
He spoke about the steps that Parliament has taken to resolve the deficit as soon as possible. This is:
- raised marginal prices
- made a more favorable adjustment,
- signed agreements with European countries on the unimpeded supply of fuel.
“It (the situation – ed. ) is not getting worse, this is already good. That is, there is fuel at some gas stations, but it is still clear that the deficit is still far from being fully satisfied. The government, firstly, raised marginal prices, made more favorable regulation “Yesterday I signed a very important agreement with Poland and other European countries. They will allow fuel trucks and tanks with diesel fuel to pass to Ukraine almost without queues and very quickly. And I think that this will accelerate the process of market saturation,” said the vice speaker of the head of BP.
Kornienko noted that in Ukraine, due to enemy missile and air strikes , there were no capacities left that could provide exactly this.
“It will be an import, it will be more expensive, and it will also take a little time to deliver it. Everyone is saying the same thing as I said. It will take some time, a few days, a week. Someone says until the middle of the month, someone something – before the end of the month” “Various forecasts. We will do everything to make it happen faster ,” said the first deputy chairman of the Verkhovna Rada.
Recall that a meeting on topical issues of the executive branch was held under the chairmanship of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky. On it, the head of state set the government the task of eliminating queues at gas stations.
