On May 5, US First Lady Jill Biden traveled to Romania and Slovakia, where she will meet with Ukrainian refugees. Her visit will last 4 days.
US First Lady Jill Biden, accompanied by Romanian First Lady Carmen Iohannis, visited a school in Bucharest on Saturday morning, where she spoke with Ukrainian and Romanian educators, as well as Ukrainian mothers and children.

“It was so emotional, wasn’t it? I think the Ukrainians really know that we are with them,” Biden told reporters after the meeting.
The First Lady of the United States thanked the Romanian government and the aid organization for the wide range of humanitarian services they provide to Ukrainian refugees.
Jill Biden also released a video of a meeting with Ukrainian children on Twitter.
