During the evacuation of civilians from the Mariupol plant “Azovstal” on May 6, as a result of Russian shelling, three Ukrainian soldiers were killed.
Six more defenders of Mariupol were injured.
This was reported by Ukrayinska Pravda with reference to the command of the Azov regiment.
“Yesterday (May 6 – ed.), during the evacuation of civilians from the territory of the plant, three servicemen laid their lives and six were seriously injured. One was killed by an ATGM, hit by an evacuation vehicle. Two were killed by bombs dropped by UAVs,” a representative of the regiment said. Azov”.
Recall that earlier on May 7, the Azov Regiment denied another Russian fake that allegedly its fighters came out to the invaders with white flags. In fact, white flags are used by both groups when evacuating civilians.
It should be noted that on May 6, 50 people were evacuated from Azovstal to the free territories of Ukraine. At the same time, the invaders deported more than 370 people from Mariupol.
