In the Kremlin, fantasies about taking over Ukraine are getting even crazier. The State Duma of Russia said that the war with Ukraine would end if their army reached the border with Poland.
This statement was made by Vice Speaker of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Pyotr Tolstoy.
He said this in an interview with The Times news agency.
“Despite the help from Europe and the hysteria of Boris Johnson or Mario Draghi, we will finish the “operation” when we consider it necessary. I think we will stop at the border with Poland ,” Tolstoy said.
He also added that the so-called “denazification and demilitarization” of Ukraine would be a prerequisite for the end of the war, since, in his opinion, “then it would no longer be possible to turn it into anti-Russia.”
It is worth noting that painful threats are heard in the Kremlin that “Poland plans to seize the western territory of Ukraine.” This was stated by the former President of the country Dmitry Medvedev, as well as the press secretary of the Russian dictator Dmitry Peskov. The Office of the President of Ukraine reacted sarcastically to this, noting that Poland is a powerful ally and partner of Ukraine. Adviser to the OP Mikhail Podolyak admitted that when Medvedev said this, then, probably, “the spirit of Zhirinovsky moved into him.”
