The main task of the Cabinet of Ministers is the qualitative organization of the supply of fuel to Ukraine.

Zelensky stated this during a traditional video message on May 7.

“Today I held a meeting on the activities of the executive branch. The main issues are economic, in particular, about providing Ukrainians with fuel, about overcoming the fuel shortage that arose after Russian missiles destroyed our Kremenchug plant and oil product bases throughout the state. I heard reports that is being specifically done to organize the supply of a sufficient volume of gasoline and other types of fuel to Ukraine. The key task for officials is to speed up the transportation of fuel from European ports to our consumers. The volume of such transportation should increase daily, “Zelensky says.

During the meeting, the president heard a report on the state budget execution under martial law.

“I also heard a report from the Minister of Finance on the state of the execution of the state budget. We are doing everything so that the state fulfills all social obligations, despite the budget deficit and the deliberate destruction of our economy by the Russian army. We also discussed in detail the plan for restoring the country after the war. This is a very ambitious task, but I I have no doubt that we will implement it,” the head of state said.

Recall that at this meeting, Zelensky set the government the task of eliminating queues at gas stations.
