They reaffirmed their strong support for Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and his government, and pledged to provide continued economic, security and humanitarian support to Ukraine,” the message says.
Biden and Trudeau expressed concern about the global implications of the war, including its impact on energy and food security.
“The Prime Minister and President look forward to discussing these and other pressing conflict-related issues with G7 partners and President Zelensky this Sunday, May 8,” the Canadian government said.
Recall that the leaders of the G7 will discuss the possibility of new sanctions against the Russian Federation .
