Today, May 8, at 17.00, the solemn opening ceremony of the international song contest “Eurovision-2022” began.
Participants from 40 countries will walk the Turquoise Path in Turin.
It is known that representatives of Ukraine, the Kalush Orchestra group will appear before the cameras of the seventh.

Recall that representatives of 40 countries will perform at Eurovision this year. So, Armenia returned, which last year refused to participate due to the not very favorable situation in the country and the political crisis. Montenegro will also compete for victory in the song contest. The country did not go to Eurovision for two years due to financial difficulties.
But Belarus will not be again. The European Language Union (EBU) has decided to suspend the country’s membership.
The EBU also suspended Russia from further participation in Eurovision. The Executive Council of the competition made such a decision after the invasion of the aggressor country into Ukraine.
