As of May 8, the total combat losses among the personnel of the Russian invaders amounted to about 25.5 thousand people. The data is being specified.
The biggest losses of the enemy over the past day were observed in the Novopavlovsk direction.
This is reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Thus, the total combat losses of the enemy from 24.02 to 08.05 approximately amounted to:
- personnel – about 25,500 (+400) people liquidated
- tanks ‒ 1130 (+8) units.
- armored combat vehicles – 2741 (+28) units.
- artillery systems – 509 (+0) units.
- MLRS – 179 (+7) units.
- air defense systems – 86 (+2) units.
- aircraft – 199 (+0) units.
- helicopters – 156 (+1) units.
- automotive equipment and tankers – 1961 (+27) units.
- ships/boats — 12(+1) units.
- UAV of the operational-tactical level – 360 (+19) units.
- special equipment – 39 (+1) units.
- cruise missiles – 92 (+2)
Recall that on February 24, Russia attacked Ukraine , inflicting a series of missile and air strikes on our cities, including Kiev. The large-scale invasion has been going on for the 74th day (war of 8 years). The occupiers continue to destroy Ukrainian villages, towns and cities with cruise missiles and air bombs, killing the civilian population and causing devastating destruction to the infrastructure.
