In the Dnipropetrovsk region, law enforcement officers are conducting checks on the fact of the death of a 12-year-old boy.
The child died from a cluster munition explosion.
This was reported in the press service of the National Police of the region.
The incident occurred on May 8 at 12:45 in one of the villages of the Sinelnikovsky district of the region. The boy found part of the enemy shell, which he brought home, where it detonated. The student died from his injuries.
“An investigative team and explosives experts worked at the scene. On this fact, the investigation is deciding the issue of opening criminal proceedings under Part 2 of Article 438 (“Violation of the laws and customs of war”) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine,” the press service of the National Police of the region said. .
