Zelensky spoke with Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic. The key topics for discussion were the strengthening of sanctions pressure on Russia, interaction to restore normal life in the de-occupied areas.
President Volodymyr Zelensky discussed with Croatian Prime Minister Andriy Plenkovic the tightening of sanctions pressure on Russia and a strategy for restoring the de-occupied regions of Ukraine.
“Ukraine speaks the same language with Croatia – the language of values and the struggle for freedom. We discussed with Prime Minister Andriy Plenkovych the strengthening of sanctions pressure on Russia, cooperation for the resumption of normal life in the de-occupied regions of our country,” Zelensky said .
He added that the issues of Ukraine’s integration into the EU and the protection of Europe’s energy freedom were discussed.
“Thank you for the meaningful talks,” the President added.
Earlier, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal met with the head of the German Bundestag, Berbel Bas, who arrived in the capital. Shmygal discussed strategically important areas of cooperation with Berbel Bass: weapons, sanctions, finances and the European perspective.
