On May 9, during a working visit to Ukraine, Secretary General of the Council of Europe Maria Peychynovych Burych visited Borodianka and Irpin.
Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba and Secretary General of the Council of Europe Maria Peychinovich Buric discussed holding Russia accountable for its crimes in Ukraine during a meeting in Kiev.
Dmitry Kuleba announced this on Twitter.
“Congratulated Council of Europe Secretary General Maria Pejcinovic-Buric in Kyiv to commend the leadership and important decisions she, PACE and member states have taken within the Council of Europe in response to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. We focused on how to engage Russia accountable for her crimes.”
