The enemy captured the south of the country due to mistakes on the part of Ukraine. And the reasons for which, in particular, Kherson and Novaya Kakhovka, were occupied by Russian troops, will be examined in detail by the investigation.
Law enforcement agencies will understand why the region was quickly captured by Russian invaders.
This was stated by Advisor to the Head of the President’s Office Alexei Arestovich in an interview with Mark Feigin on YouTube.
“Why didn’t they prepare Kherson, New Kakhovka? Why didn’t they mine the bridges, why didn’t they blow them up?” Feigin asked.
“The answer is very short for those who deal with this topic: fucked up. Who, what and how – we will figure it out, in particular, law enforcement agencies understand. Because – somewhere incompetence, somewhere treason – this is the biggest question. Necessarily everything will be assessed – both personnel, and personal, and criminal, and everything in the world, ”Arestovich answered.
Since the beginning of March, Kherson has been under the occupation of Russian troops. For more than two months, Kherson residents have been going to protests with Ukrainian flags to show that Kherson is Ukraine . With bare hands, Ukrainians often force the invaders to retreat, drive away armored personnel carriers and KamAZ trucks with armed soldiers. However, protests are becoming less frequent due to threats and intimidation. Those periodically shoot in the air, on the ground.
Such an active position of the inhabitants of the Kherson region most of all prevents the occupiers from establishing a new order there. However, enemy forces occupied Genichesk, Kakhovka, Novaya Kakhovka and other settlements.
Ukrainian state authorities and local self-government in the Kherson region are trying to ensure the vital activity of the region, despite the fact that the Russians have appointed their “authority”. Mostly we are talking about economic issues – utilities, social services, transport, assistance in organizing humanitarian assistance.
First Deputy Chairman of the Kherson Regional Council Yuri Sobolevsky said that in the temporarily occupied cities of the region, the invaders want to establish their “power” and destroy the financial system.
