The Disinformation Counteraction Center warns that the information provided is not true and was created for only one purpose – to demoralize and spread panic among the military.
Pro-Russian Telegram channels are replicating a fake about a sharp deterioration in the epidemiological situation in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Russia seeks to sow panic among the Ukrainian defenders, not disdaining to “disperse” the fake that “an epidemic of tuberculosis has begun in the Ukrainian army.”
This is reported by the Disinformation Counteraction Center in Telegram.
In particular, propagandists note that “Ukrainian doctors cannot determine the exact cause of the epidemic, but they are inclined to two options for a mass outbreak”:
- “conscription of underexamined reservists and terrorist defense fighters”;
- “active recruitment of prisoners into the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.”
At the same time, referring to an unknown “source in the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” the propagandists note that “the level of sanitary losses from tuberculosis is more than 10% of the personnel, and many military personnel are ill in a very serious form and need to be evacuated.”

Recall that the enemy is spreading fakes about forced mobilization in Ukraine in the occupied territory.
