Stationary departments of the KNP “Children’s Territorial Medical Association” of the city of Kramatorsk received a humanitarian cargo of medical purposes.
With the assistance of the Commander of the Defense Forces, Lieutenant General Sergei Naev, the hospital was replenished with medicines, medical supplies, kits for surgical interventions, dressings. It should be noted that at present the healthcare institution provides a full range of medical services to children from birth to 17 years of age.
This was reported by the Command of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“The hospital serves the children of Kramatorsk and the Northern region of the Donetsk region, as well as children from the category of internally displaced persons,” Lieutenant General Sergei Naev said.
He also stressed that targeted support for children’s medical institutions located in the area of responsibility of the Defense Forces is one of the important areas of activity. “By enlisting the support of all concerned people, we are making efforts to provide children’s hospitals with everything necessary so that doctors always have the opportunity to do their work efficiently and quickly,” the lieutenant general added.
According to him, the medical staff of the hospital continues to work, despite the shelling of the city by the troops of the Russian Federation. In turn, the hospital is grateful for such support.
“Pediatricians have their own front line and it is right here, in our hospital. I express my gratitude on behalf of myself and all health workers to those who support us and help our medical institution,” said Natalya Kapusta, general director of the children’s hospital, while receiving the humanitarian cargo.
As reported, in April, as part of the humanitarian initiatives of the Command of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, more than 200 tons of targeted humanitarian cargo was delivered to 11 Ukrainian cities. Humanitarian aid, first of all, was received by Ukrainian defenders, military hospitals and internally displaced persons.
