Germany is reopening its embassy in Kyiv, but it will operate in a limited format.
In particular, the German embassy will open with a minimal presence of diplomats, but with Ambassador Anka Feldhusen.
This was stated by German Foreign Minister Annalena Berbock during her visit to Kiev on May 10.
“Today, while here, we are reopening our embassy in Kyiv. At first, it will be a somewhat limited activity,” Burbock said.
She added that Feldhusen “will continue to work in your free city.”
Recall, on May 10, the head of the German Foreign Ministry visited Bucha, Kiev region, accompanied by the Prosecutor General of Ukraine Irina Venediktova.
In addition, Burbock met with President Volodymyr Zelensky and Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba.
