Serhiy Gaidai, the head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration , announced this in his Telegram.

” Cities and villages in the region were shelled 22 times over the past day. We have destruction of housing in Severodonetsk and Lysichansk. In addition, in Severodonetsk, an enemy shell hit the building of the local cell of the National Police, there was a significant fire, due to which the premises and equipment were destroyed,” he noted.

While trying to inspect the destruction in Shipilovo, where people remain blocked, the Russians opened fire on the police. There is one injured employee. A resident of Severodonetsk, who yesterday received shrapnel wounds to his limbs, was hospitalized and taken to a hospital in Poltava, Gaidai added.

In addition, the head of the region stressed that in the direction of Severodonetsk, the enemy continues to prepare for offensive operations.

Over the previous day, fifteen enemy attacks were successfully repelled in the Lugansk and Donetsk regions: one anti-aircraft missile system, nine tanks, three artillery systems, 25 units of armored combat vehicles, three units of special engineering equipment and three enemy vehicles were destroyed. Air defense units shot down one unmanned aerial vehicle of the Orlan-10 type.
