The founder of Microsoft has tested positive for COVID-19.

American businessman and philanthropist, founder of Microsoft and the Gates Foundation, Bill Gates has contracted the coronavirus .

He announced this on Tuesday, May 10, in his microblog on Twitter.

“I tested positive for COVID-19. I feel mild symptoms and, on the advice of specialists, have been isolated until I recover,” he wrote.

Gates also said that he was fully vaccinated and received a booster dose of the vaccine.

The entrepreneur added that the Gates Foundation he founded will continue to work with partners and will do everything possible so that the world never has to face a pandemic again.

Recall that in early 2022, Bill Gates said that the COVID-19 pandemic would decline immediately after the surge of a new strain of the Omicron coronavirus. According to his forecast, COVID-19 may soon become a seasonal disease.
