On May 11, PJSC Gazprom closed the valve on the Soyuz main gas pipeline in Russia.
On the morning of May 11, the dispatchers of the “GTS Operator of Ukraine” recorded unauthorized changes in the gas transportation regimes, indicating the closing of gas valves in the area of the Novopskov CS in the occupied territory, namely: valves on the Soyuz main gas pipeline, as well as the Novopskov-Shebelinka main gas pipeline “, which transported gas to the territory of Donetsk and Lugansk regions.

So far, the transit of natural gas through the GIS “Sokhranivka” does not occur.
“Dispatchers of the OGTSU received information about unauthorized interference by the Novopskovskaya industrial site in transit gas flows through the Soyuz gas pipeline by opening a jumper valve. The information was additionally checked and confirmed. An unauthorized withdrawal of transit gas from the Soyuz main gas pipeline was recorded in the gas pipeline of the Luhansk and Donetsk regions In fact, we are talking about the theft of gas and the impossibility of the OGTSU to be responsible for maintaining transit volumes,” the report says.
Recall that Ukraine stops part of the transit of gas to Europe because of the Russian occupiers . Currently, Ukraine cannot control further gas supplies and exercise operational and technological control.
