The head of the Kyiv city prosecutor’s office informed in absentia about the suspicion to the deputy of the Kherson regional council of high treason committed under martial law. The official went to cooperate with the Russian invaders.
Law enforcers established that after the Russian invasion, the deputy, in order to maintain his status, came into contact with representatives of the enemy army and special services located in the occupied territory of the Kherson region .
This is stated in the press service of the Kiev City Prosecutor’s Office.
So, to fulfill the tasks set by the occupiers, on April 16, a deputy of the regional council helped to seize the building of one of the city councils in the region. The official also influenced patriotic local residents so that they would not resist the invaders in organizing the distribution of so-called humanitarian aid.
In addition, the suspect provided the Russian occupiers with information about a local resident who stood up to protect the interests of the community. Thanks to the actions of the deputy, the invaders illegally deprived this man of freedom.
Pre-trial investigation is carried out by investigators of the Kyiv police.
Recall that the Russian invaders posted on the Web a video of the interrogation of a resident of the village of Oleshki, Kherson region, Sergei Moroz, who was kidnapped by them . The video recorded torture with the use of electric current.
