The occupying state Russia cannot fully restore the combat capability of the military units withdrawn from Ukraine.
The reason for this is the sanctions imposed on the Russian Federation by different countries of the world. That is why there is a tangible decline in the Russian military-industrial complex.
This was reported by the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense.
Since the beginning of the war, on February 24, the Russians have lost part of their military-technical potential. Therefore, they are forced to supply units that have suffered losses with equipment and weapons manufactured in 1950-60.
“However, this situation does not bother the Kremlin leadership, it does not care how much and on what to send “cannon fodder” to the battle for the future of the “Russian world”. “peace,” the GUR said in a statement.
It is noted that in the vast majority of warehouses for long-term storage, equipment cannot be delivered to subdivisions. The military is forced to accept it, as well as to report to the command about the full staffing and provision of combat units.
During April, the following was removed from the storage bases of the Russian Federation:
- 18 self-propelled guns “Msta-S” from the arsenal of rocket and artillery weapons of the Eastern PO (Ussuriysk, Primorsky Territory);
- 28 self-propelled guns “Acacia” from the 94 arsenal of the GRAU (Omsk);
- 15 self-propelled guns “Msta-S”, 5 self-propelled guns “Akatsiya” and 20 self-propelled guns “Gvozdika” from the arsenal of complex storage of radioactive waste (Gagarinsky, Sverdlovsk region);
- 15 MLRS “Hurricane” and 11 TRK “Tochka-U” from the 109th arsenal of the GRAU (Batareyna, Irkutsk region).
The intelligence reports that the restoration of the combat capability and staffing of the troops of the Western PO is carried out, including through the armament and military equipment removed from storage at the 239th mobilization deployment support center (Boguchar).
“Now the rusted and rotten military-technical echo of the Kremlin’s ‘great past’ is becoming the basis of Russia’s ‘present’,” the GUR notes.
Recall that the SBU continues to intercept the conversations of Russian invaders on the territory of Ukraine. Most conversations indicate that the Russians are in a depressed mood due to losses after meetings with the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
