In the Brovarsky region, as elsewhere where the Russians have reached, there are still burnt cars of local residents on both sides of the road. In these cars, people tried to hide from the invaders. One of these families lived in the village of Shevchenkovo, where two brothers remained orphans.

The younger Seraphim does not step aside from his older Timothy. Their parents died on March 8, when the invaders entered the village. The uncle of the guys was the first to know about it. “I pick up the phone, and they tell me, a friend called on the phone: “Sergei, your relatives were shot.” I didn’t understand right away. And he says that Yulia and Sergey were shot,” the man says.

In the morning Yulia and Sergey traded at the local market, the children were at home. “When they heard the approach of enemy vehicles, they tried to get into the car and leave this place and go to the children, but the Russian military shot at the columns,” the relatives say.

In the cabin, even a pendant in the form of a trident was shot through, the spouses had no chance of surviving, they died on the spot, not having reached home some fifty meters, but they could not even pick them up right away. Rashists allowed to do this to relatives only on the third day. The hardest thing, Sergei says, was to tell the children about it. “We didn’t know how to say. This is how to tell the children that they killed their parents, and they will no longer be? ”The uncle of the boys says.

He and his wife immediately took the brothers to live with them, but Aunt Elena was able to tell them the truth in just 10 days. “In the morning we got up, and Seraphim said: “Did they kill dad and mom?” Timothy says: “Is this true?” I took his hands, I say that this is true, ”she says.

Elena and her husband have already taken custody of the youngest. It is not so easy to do this with the elder, he is the son from his first marriage. His father lives in Belarus. The man was informed about the incident on the social network, but he did not answer. Elena says she now has three sons. Before that, they were always friends with families, lived in the same village, often spent time together. Her son studies with Timofey in the same class. Therefore, at least there is not much space at home, but the main thing is that they are all together.

The third month the children learn to live without parents. They do not cry and are not afraid of anything when they are together, because for each other they are now the greatest support and comfort. “He was only afraid to be without me,” says Timofey about his younger brother.
