Despite any attempts or actions of the occupiers to illegally create fake “republics” on Ukrainian territories, the entire civilized world perceives them as a quasi-formation, not a state. Everyone understands that Putin needs this in order to implement his dictatorial policy.

This was stated by the former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Volodymyr Ohryzko in an interview with OBOZREVATEL .

“Therefore, no matter what forms of this insanity he comes up with, I think that the situation will not fundamentally change. Everything will depend on two circumstances: on how quickly the Ukrainian Armed Forces will receive the weapons they need in order to be ready not only to repel the enemy, but also for the counter-offensive, and when this counter-offensive ends with the expulsion of all these orcs from the territory of Ukraine. I think we should not be particularly surprised by some of Putin’s next fantasies. This does not change anything in the general situation, “Ogryzko said.

In his opinion, the West will reject such actions of Russia and condemn them, stressing that this does not have any legal consequences. But in the course of the war, the expert believes, nothing will change.

As it became known, the occupying authorities of the Kherson region intend to appeal to Russian President Vladimir Putin with a request to annex the temporarily occupied region to the Russian Federation. The “head of the military-civilian administration” Kirill Stremousov says that they will do without referendums. At the same time, there will be a single “decree” based on the appeal of the “leadership of the KhNR”.

It should be noted that President Volodymyr Zelensky said earlier that if a pseudo-referendum is held in Kherson, then Ukraine will withdraw from the negotiation process.

Recall that the Ministry of Defense reported that the Russian invaders were unable to hold their so-called referendums in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, in particular, in Kherson.
