During the day on May 11, the western borders of Ukraine with the EU and Moldova were crossed by more than 74 thousand people and almost 19 thousand vehicles.
More than 35,000 people left Ukraine over the past day. More than 21 thousand of them crossed the border with Poland, the rest went to Slovakia, Hungary, Romania and Moldova.
This was announced today, May 12, in the Western Regional Department of the State Border Service of Ukraine.
At the same time , more than 39,000 people arrived in Ukraine over the past day, of which 36,000 are Ukrainians.
During this period, 232 trucks with humanitarian aid were registered at the border.
As of 12:00 on May 12, at the borders with neighboring states, to leave Ukraine, queues formed in front of the following checkpoints:
Republic of Poland:
“Krakowets” – 20 l / a, 0 buses, 0 pedestrians;
“Shegini” – 15 l / a, 0 buses, 100 pedestrians.
The Slovak Republic:
“Uzhgorod” – 15 l / a, 0 buses, 0 pedestrians.
