This was stated by the Deputy Chief of the Main Operational Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Brigadier General Oleksiy Gromov at a press conference at the Media Center of Ukraine.
“As of six hours today, since the start of full-scale hostilities, the Russian armed forces carried out 487 missile strikes, during which 788 cruise and ballistic missiles were fired from the territory of Russia and the Republic of Belarus. “Tochka-U” – 61 units, sea-based and air-based cruise missiles – 235 units, 4,917 air sorties were made,” Gromov said.
He noted that during May, the Russian Armed Forces carried out 49 missile strikes from the territory of Russia, fired 74 cruise and ballistic missiles, Iskander missiles – 4 units, Tochka-U – 8 units, sea and air-based cruise missiles – 2 units., 459 air raids were made
The main targets of the Russians were the transport infrastructure facilities of the southern and eastern regions of the state, but they repeatedly fired at other critical infrastructure facilities of social importance.
