The village of Belogorovka in the Luhansk region became the “new Chernobaevka” for the occupiers. There, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have once again destroyed the pontoon crossings of Russian troops across the Seversky Donets.
On Thursday, May 12, the situation on the fronts underwent special changes.
Aleksey Arestovich, adviser to the head of the President’s Office, spoke about this in a conversation with Russian journalist and human rights activist Mark Feigin.
“On the fronts, we have no special changes. Nothing special has happened on the ground,” he said.
Arestovich called Izyumskoe the hottest destination.
“There is a ‘regrouping’ (occupiers – Ed.) and fire influence on our positions, and we respond. There are desperate attempts to move somewhere in the Lugansk region.
“New Chernobaevka” Arestovich called the settlement Belogorovka, near which there is a bend near the Seversky Donets. In the area of this bend, the Russian troops are trying to establish a crossing for the fifth time – in the same place.
“There, a photograph shows 78 units of destroyed enemy equipment. But they go there and go. They hit and hit them, but they go and go. And they are still trying to advance and build a crossing in the same place,” summed up the adviser to the chairman of the Presidential Office .
Earlier, the Luhansk OVA reported that the occupiers were installing pontoon crossings in the direction of Kremennaya.
