According to the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, one of the reasons for the transition of the invaders to this tactic is the refusal to use aviation, which suffers heavy losses.
Recall that 12 Russian missiles hit the infrastructure of Kremenchug on the evening of May 12. Most of them hit the refinery, which was not working due to the consequences of the first enemy strike.
