Latvia has banned more than 100 citizens of the Russian Federation from entering the country.
The ban is introduced for an indefinite period, and a number of representatives of Russian culture, politicians and public figures have been included in the list.
This was announced by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Baltic Republic Edgars Rinkevics on his Twitter page.
“Guided by the law on immigration, I have decided to include 102 citizens of the Russian Federation in the list of persons unwanted in the Republic of Latvia,” said Rinkevics.

Let’s remind, on May, 9th Latvia has brought in the list of “undesirable persons” some more Russian celebrities. In particular, the list included: singer Philip Kirkorov, comedian Yevgeny Petrosyan , artist Vladimir Vinokur and rhythmic gymnast Irina Viner-Usmanova. Everyone was banned from entering Latvia for an indefinite period.
