Against the investigation of the atrocities of Russian infidels near the Ukrainian capital were China and Eritrea.
On Thursday, May 12, the UN Human Rights Council decided to conduct an investigation into possible war crimes of the Russian occupiers near the capital of Ukraine.
This was reported on Twitter by the UN Council, having published the results of the vote.
33 countries voted for the resolution proposed by Kyiv on the formation of a special commission of inquiry.
Twelve Member States, including Cuba, Kazakhstan, India, Pakistan, Uzbekistan and Venezuela, abstained from voting. Only China and Eritrea opposed the proposal.

Chinese Ambassador Chen Xu, commenting on the resolution, complained about the “politicization of the Council”, saying that such a document “could add fuel to the fire.”
The UN’s highest human rights body also urged Russia to immediately grant humanitarian workers access to civilians taken from Ukraine to Russia, as Ukrainian citizens complain about the forced movement of people across the border against their will.
Recall that earlier the UN General Assembly decided that the Czech Republic will take Russia’s place in the United Nations Human Rights Council until December 31, 2023.
