Ukrainian singer Zlata Ognevich went to America, where she participates in charity concerts in support of Ukraine.
However, when the artist with a team from Chicago was heading to another American city, an unpleasant incident happened to her. The singer was attacked by an American racist. Zlata Ognevich told about this on her Instagram page.
“I’m late for the airport because an American racist attacked us. We called Uber to go to the airport, a taxi driver arrived. We drove for 10 minutes, spoke in Ukrainian, suddenly he gives us that he is now dropping us near the railway station, because he doesn’t want to hear the language we speak anymore. We ask him: “Are you a racist?” He says: “Yes, I’m a racist, I hate you. You are misbehaving. It’s impolite in my presence. The presence of me, an American, to communicate in your unworthy language,” Ognevich said about the incident.
The artist admitted that she had never encountered this before in her life and this situation shocked her very much. Fortunately, the performer managed to get to the airport and, unlike the previous strange driver, their next driver turned out to be adequate and had no complaints about the passengers.
