Now the ministry is working on simplifying the reservation system for those liable for military service and transferring it to the Internet. Who is booked and how, what changes to expect, – said Deputy Minister of Economy Oleksandr Griban. The mechanism for submitting and considering applications will be simplified and automated. Applications can be submitted through a specialized subdivision of the website of the Ministry of Economy. The data will be synchronized with the databases of the General Staff, the Ministry of Defense and territorial recruitment and social support centers.

How the booking system will work

The application can be submitted by a person engaged in booking employees after registering in the program through an electronic signature. After that, the application will be approved by the Ministry of Defense, then these data will be entered into a single electronic register, which will be available to the General Staff and territorial recruitment and social support centers. Applications will be processed within three days.

Which industries are most often booked

According to Deputy Minister of Economy Oleksandr Griban, most often requests for reservations are made by energy complex enterprises that are included in the list of critical infrastructure. After attacks on the fuel infrastructure and the need to restore it, the share of booking requests from the fuel market increased.

The Ministry of Economy takes into account the needs of business in booking and, where this does not contradict the requests of the army, tries to meet it halfway. They refuse to book in cases where it concerns scarce military specialties for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The worker is booked for a period of six months. After 6 months it can be booked again.
