According to WinFuture, GoPro is gearing up to release the Hero 11 Black camera. The novelty will retain the design of the GoPro Hero 10 Black, but will receive significant hardware and software improvements.
It is expected that the new camera will be presented during the DJI Action event in mid-September – just like its predecessor a year ago. GoPro hasn’t confirmed any details yet, but official camera renders and specs have surfaced online.
GoPro Hero 11 Black will get a new CMOS sensor with a resolution of 27 MP (23 MP for Hero 10 ). Video shooting options will be the same as the previous model – 5.3K at 60fps and 4K at 120fps. The battery capacity of 2700 mAh, the parameters of the rear and front screens, and water resistance will remain unchanged. At the moment, it is not known whether the system will work on the GoPro GP2 chipset or will receive new logic.
Proprietary video stabilization technology will be updated to the next version – HyperSmooth 5.0. The owner of the new camera will receive a video quality upgrade, presumably for $499 – the price is expected to remain the same as the previous version.
