This is how the iPhone 14 Pro case looks on the iPhone 13 Pro

05 September 2022, 11:51

Just a couple of days separates us from the presentation of the iPhone 14 series, the Pro models of which will receive a tangible upgrade of the camera system. It will be noticeable not only at the time of shooting, but also visually: the camera blocks of the “firmware” have become physically larger. The informant @UniverseIce decided to clearly illustrate the difference by placing the iPhone 13 Pro in a case for the iPhone 14 Pro. And although the dimensions of the devices are similar, Apple will force you to throw away, spitting on the environment, old cases when switching to new ones: neither the position of the cameras nor the sound mode switch match. It is difficult to say whether Apple engineers had a real need to change the dimensions of the camera block, or whether this was dictated by the desire of the Cupertino people to spur sales of cases, because, as you know, Apple makes huge profits from sales of branded accessories.
