The Ukrainian military this week received the first NATO-style Warmate Warmate strike unmanned system and with it 20 kamikaze drones, another installation and 20 kamikaze drones should be delivered to the front within a month, reports the Ministry of Digital Development.
These two Warmate complexes were purchased as part of the Army of Drones project thanks to the monobank charitable initiative – in June, 64 million UAH were collected through monobank in six days. Part of the initiative was the drawing of personal inscriptions on drones among all those who called from 999 UAH. Among the inflicted messages that the Ukrainians handed over to the invaders are “For Mariupol and for Bucha”, “A ticket to a Kobzon concert”. In addition, during the transfer of drones, the head of the Ministry of Digital Development, Mikhail Fedorov, and the co-founder of monobank, Oleg Gorokhovsky, could not resist and wrote a message on their own – “Bavovna in Diy” and “Vova P personally in hand”, respectively.

Warmate drones (the development of the Polish enterprise WB Electronics, part of the WB Group) are used by the Polish army and other NATO member countries. Among the main targets of these drones are lightly armored vehicles, air defense (air defense), EW (electronic warfare) and EW (electronic intelligence) of the enemy. Warmate has a fully autonomous target engagement system and a simple control interface – operators mark a point on the map and provide autopilot data for a strike.
The Chernihiv enterprise of Chezar also has a license for the production of Warmate. The reconnaissance FlyEye, together with the Warmate kamikaze strike drone, make up the Sokil strike and reconnaissance complex – in 2017 it passed field tests, but it has not yet been put into service.
