Apple’s decision to deprive the iPhone of complete chargers was met with coolness not only by ordinary users, but also by entire countries. Back in October 2020, when the “green” packaging of the iPhone 12 was just beginning to fill the world’s shelves, Brazilian regulators asked Apple for an explanation for this decision regarding the previous iPhone 11, XR and SE, the new batches of which also suddenly lost charging blocks. But the most interesting thing happened yesterday, literally on the eve of the presentation of the iPhone 14 line: Brazil suspended sales of iPhones without chargers in the country.

What’s more, the court ordered Apple to pay a new fine of 12.27 million reais ($2.3 million) for continuing to sell “incomplete products” despite earlier fines. According to Reuters, Apple has already filed an appeal, but the fate of iPhone 14 sales in Brazil is now in question.
