AMD will discuss with partners the new B650 motherboards for the Ryzen 7000 series processors. For the first time, mid-range processors for socket AM5 will be demonstrated. The online meeting will take place on October 4th.
AMD invited the marketing teams of ASUS, ASRock, MSI, Gigabyte and Biostar to showcase their products during the 60-minute Meet the Expert webcast. Don Valigrosky, AMD Product Marketing Manager, will be attending the meeting. A message on the company’s website reads:

At the moment, AMD is planning two chipsets for the Ryzen 7000 series , each of which will come in two flavors: Regular and Extreme. The extreme option provides PCIe 5.0 compatibility for the graphics adapter in conjunction with NVMe storage.
AMD is officially launching Ryzen 7000 processors and X670E/X670 motherboards on September 27th, but the B650 series is not expected to go on sale until early October.
