Therefore, the appearance on Android smartphones of copies of the “dynamic island” from the iPhone 14 Pro has become only a matter of time. According to rumors , the upcoming Honor flagships will be able to offer a pill-shaped cutout in the center, but you won’t have to wait for them: at least three options for the software implementation of the newfangled “pill” are already circulating on the Web. The first and most primitive is the Edge Mask app available for free on Google Play. In it, you can flexibly customize the cloud of pop-up notifications, including making it remotely similar to an apple island. Paradoxically, you need to select the “Samsung Style” theme, disabling the rest of the radio buttons.

The second option is another application created by Chinese craftsmen. Its name can be translated from Chinese as Smart Bird (Smart Bird), and the essence is simple: a notification cloud that is visually close to Apple’s Dynamic Island. We checked it works. The interface is completely in Chinese, but it works right out of the box, and you can adjust the size and indentation of the “island” with the sliders.

The third option is suitable for owners of Xiaomi devices: this is a theme for global versions of MIUI 12 and 13. True, so far it is awaiting approval for publication in the application store, but there is an alternative installation option (which, alas, does not work on all models). To do this, you need to download two files from the link below, install and run the MTZ Tester application, and inside it select and apply the second downloaded theme file (MIUI 12_MIUI 13_iPhone 14.mtz).
