Sony… The Japanese brand’s smartphones have become a separate product category in recent years. On the one hand, the manufacturer offers a classic design without holes and eyebrows, a 3.5 mm audio jack in the flagship, a camera without plugs, good marketing support for screen chips, the same camera and sound. But in fact, unfortunately, Xperia is far from leadership positions. Well, we gave it another chance – we got Xperia 1 IV for testing. It’s still a 120Hz 4K HDR flagship, now powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, with a 12MP triple camera (including a periscope telephoto lens) and a 5000mAh battery. Sounds great, but… Overheating! We felt it literally everywhere – in the interface, when working with the camera, in games. On the positive side, “Captain Sugar” no longer dances (those who don’t understand will understand), the smartphone has a decent level of autonomy, atmospheric shots. In general, look! We believe that next time Sony will succeed!
