The iPhone 14 Pro Dynamic Island hype continues. A variety of Chinese brands are associated with the idea of adapting this chip into their own solutions. Among them, of course, Xiaomi. Traditionally active on social media, Redmi CEO Lu Weibing has confused fans. He responded to one of the fans counting on “Smart Island” in Redmi K60 as follows: “Do you really need Smart Island?”.
What would that mean? User opinions are divided. Some of them believe that this is a hint that an analogue of the “dynamic island” will appear in Redmi K60 and Weibing thus “warms up” the audience, the other – that the manager doubts this idea and Xiaomi is not going to make such experiments. It is expected that the Redmi K60 series can be presented before the end of this year due to the early launch of Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. Unfortunately, there is no specifics on its parameters.
