Below are the estimates of some well-known foreign publications:
In general, the reviews are positive – the new EA product is praised primarily for the improved HyperMotion technology. The movements on the field have become smoother than in the previous version. The contact between the players seems to be more and more realistic – both in attack and defense, and the ball moves along more natural trajectories. In total, more than 6,000 animations have been added to improve the simulation of football in FIFA 23.
“With HyperMotion2, AI learns as you play: it analyzes the best animations for your playstyle and game actions as they occur. All this is very well combined with the gameplay and excellent graphical quality that the game has at the moment, ”writes GamersRD.
Critics note an increase in the number of licenses for leagues, teams, players, international competitions and stadiums. FIFA 23 has 9,000 players, 700 teams, 100 stadiums and 30 leagues. There’s the Premier League, Bundesliga, La Liga, Serie A (with a stellar return from Juventus), as well as the UEFA Champions League, Europa League and Conference League, as well as the Copa Libertadores South America. There will be no Russian team and Russian clubs in FIFA 23, thus EA Sports expressed solidarity with the Ukrainian people.
Separately, journalists were glad for the presence of women’s clubs – so far only teams from the top divisions of England and France are available.
Note that the highest FIFA 23 rating among Ukrainian players was received by Italian Atalanta midfielder Ruslan Malinovsky – 82.
For comparison, the highest rating in the game is 91. It was received by Karim Benzema (Real Madrid), Robert Lewandowski (Barcelona), Kylian Mbappe (PSG), Kevin de Bruyne (Manchester City) and Lionel Messi (PSG).
The game is scheduled for release on September 30, 2022, it will be the last of the line – EA’s football simulator will be released next year under the name EA Sports FC .
