Among the features of the game – support for 4K and 120 frames per second, ultra-wide monitors with a 21:9 aspect ratio, DLSS and variable refresh rate (VRR). Sackboy: A Big Adventure will definitely look better than the PS5 version.
Sackboy: A Big Adventure is the latest in a growing lineup of PlayStation exclusives released for PC. Prior to this, Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered , Horizon Zero Dawn, Days Gone, and God of War appeared on personal computers. Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection is also coming to PC on October 19th, while Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales for Windows is coming this fall.
Sony is focusing a lot on PlayStation ports for PC and aims to port around half of its games by 2025. Last year, the company began using the PlayStation PC label at the same time as it acquired developer Nixxes Software . The company also bought Savage Game Studios in hopes of conquering the mobile market.
The announcement of Sackboy: A Big Adventure on PC comes just a day after the PC version of Returnal’s settings menu was leaked . Sony may also be working on its own launcher for PlayStation games on computers – references to the launcher have been found in a port of Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered.
