“The myth of Putin’s inviolability has been dispelled like smoke”: Johnson told why the Ukrainians will defeat the invaders

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said that the Ukrainians have proven their invincibility in the fight against the Russian occupation forces.

Ukraine will definitely win the war with Russia.

The British Prime Minister said this during an appeal to the Ukrainian government on May 3.

“They said that somewhere you can divide Ukraine, and the government will be in London or Poland. Now you have proven that they were wrong. All military experts predicted that Ukraine would fall, and your peasants captured Russian tanks with their tractors, your pensioners went out on the road and just speaking face to face with non-parliamentary expressions addressed the attackers. And also in those parts of Ukraine that are temporarily captured, your population still rises in protests day by day. And your soldiers are three to one – always the advantage is on the side enemy, but on the side of your brave lions, courage and devotion to your country. And we see that the myth of Putin’s inviolability, insurmountability has been dispelled like smoke. At the same time, your country stands like a citadel, like a fortress,” he said.

Johnson also noted that the next generations will remember Ukrainian invincibility.

“Putin’s military machine stumbled over Ukrainian patriotism, stumbled and crashed. Your love for the country stopped them. This is a time of glory that will be in the memory of the next generations and grandchildren and great-grandchildren will be told about this, that Ukrainians taught the whole world that the brutal force of the aggressor is nothing can cause a people that chose freedom, they will say that the Ukrainians, by their stubbornness, by their sacrifice, proved that guns and tanks cannot suppress a nation that is fighting for its independence. That is why I believe and know that Ukraine will win.that the old saying: it’s not the size of the dog that weighs, but the size of the battle where this dog came to fight. I don’t know if there is such an idiom in Ukrainian, but I think you understand,” says the British Prime Minister.

Recall that as a result of a Russian night airstrike on the Azovstal plant in Mariupol, two civilian women were killed .
