“He can make everything worse”: Bill Gates commented on the purchase of Twitter by Elon Musk

Former Microsoft CEO Bill Gates says Elon Musk will make Twitter “worse”. He said this at the summit of the Wall Street Journal. Gates added that it is not yet clear how Musk will change Twitter if he becomes its owner. At the same time, he asked what the head of Tesla was going to do with misinformation on the social network.

The Microsoft founder commented on the Twitter acquisition after Musk accused Gates of shorting Tesla shares . The head of Tesla tweeted a joke about Gates, to which the ex-head of Microsoft said that he was not bothered by insults.

Gates wondered what Musk’s goal is on Twitter and whether it is reasonable to encourage free speech on the social network.

“How does he feel about [Twitter] saying ‘vaccines kill people’ or ‘Bill Gates is watching people? Does that fit in with the idea that extreme lies [and] weird conspiracy theories should not be spread so quickly? Does he share these beliefs or not?

He also proposed to make changes to the Twitter Blue service, reducing the cost of access, banning advertising and introducing payment in the Dogecoin cryptocurrency .
